The Australian International Film Festival (AIFF) is set to showcase an excellent variety of Australian and overseas cinematics that will challenge the traditional notion of the film festival. 

The AIFF will bridge the gap between the alternative film scene and the commercial family oriented cinema experience.  Delivering an event which appeals to a broad range of the Australian public, a defining feature of the AIFF is the inclusion of mainstream commercial content.

The festival will be held at Hoyts Melbourne Central which boasts the finest projection facilities available including the largest screen used in any Melbourne festival, whilst offering plush seats and creature candy bar comforts. 

All AIFF activity will be located in this one modern, central location, giving Melbournians an opportunity to be the first to enjoy worldwide film premieres in over 50 screenings.  Festival goers will join the celebration of various forms of media, in a fresh, fun environment.
